Poway Center for Performing Arts
Every CCA dance class will be given a part in the Lion King Dance Production. All
Lead Roles will be cast from CCA's Advanced and Intermediate-Level Dancers.
Rehearsals
We will have 3 rehearsals outside of class time that all dancers must attend.
Please note that the main goal of these rehearsals is not only about practicing
their dances, it is about rehearsing the entire experience of the production.
* Dancers will be dropped off for all rehearsals and performances unless you are an official
backstage mom. Please sign up to be a backstage mom at the front desk.
Individual Scene Rehearsals Location: Tierra Bonita Elementary MPR
Saturday, February 4th 9:00am-2:00pm
* No costumes or make-up. Dancers come only to their scene(s).
All Dancers welcome at Pizza Party ($5.00 per dancer)
Scene 1: 9:00-10:00 Scene 2: 10:00-11:00 Pizza Party 11:00
Scene 3: 11:45-12:45 Scene 4: 12:45-1:45

Full Run Rehearsals Location: Midland Elementary MPR
Sunday, February 5th 1:00-3:30pm
* No costumes or make-up. All dancers come to the full rehearsal time.
Theatre Dress Rehearsals
Friday, February 17th 4:30-7:30pm
* Dancers will be in costumes with hair and make-up done, just like a performance.
Costume and Production Fees
Production and costume fees will be added to your November tuition. The
production fee is $35 per dancer (waived if you are a backstage mom) and
costume fees are $50 per class or $60 for combo classes. Each dancer will also
receive one pair of performance tights free of charge.

Information about Photographs, Videos and Event tickets will be available soon.
